Workers have poured three of the turbine foundations at Pennask and are installing foundation mud mats for the Okanagan Wind substation.

The substation will be the connection point between the wind turbine and the BC Hydro grid. It is what allows the electricity generated by the wind turbines to power approximately 9,000 homes.

The Okanagan Wind facilities have a 40-year purchase agreement with BC Hydro to provide British Columbia with clean, renewable energy.
