Recognizing the people and communities that help make Okanagan great.
Strong communities are built on lasting and meaningful relationships. In honour of National Indigenous Peoples Day, we celebrate our First Nations partners in the Upper Nicola Band, Westbank First Nation, and Penticton Indian Band. Their insight, support and commitment to Okanagan Wind has made this project a success, from early designs through to operations. Our partnership and collaboration in the Okanagan region harnesses natural wind energy, helping to green B.C.’s electricity grid for future generations.
